I watched that performance, 'car crash' comes to mind. I know a load of people who said it was good as well, which goes to show some people's standards for music are very low.
I'm surprised she made the show with her health problems and everything. It's quite sad to be honest.

Sad? It's a fuckin' disaster, is what it is!
Biggest crime on the planet...wasted talent.
And I doubt she'll ever sort her head out either.

You should all start listening to Melody Gardot instead now!

Edit: Just spotted the username..
Anyone can quit drugs as the addiction only lasts hours or days.
Why pity her? She is loving her drugs, enjoying her attention, getting rich and will quit later and be on celebrity TV like all the others.
Don't you people ever see PR and how in rock all publicity about drugs sells and makes money the whole point of PR and money making?
Posh Spice hasn't taught you anything?
All these conditions they are meant to have?
Amy Winehouse will be fine just like Liam and Noel in 96 were going to die and so was keef in the 60's.
If she did die it would be an accident not because she wanted to.
Why pity someone getting high?
Pity someone who lives in Africa without water or food.
Not a millionaire who is high.
What do you mean checked username?

I wouldn't pity her she knew the possible consequences of her actions before she did it she is no victim she had choices and that is what she chose so its her burden to bear but if she wants to get better I wish her the best

Well put!
Most of it is PR anyway and why the police didn't charge her.
Don't fall for rock stories.
They just get publicity and sell and make money.
She is clever as she headlined Glasto and wouldn't have if her antics didn't get her publicity.
She would never have headlined.
The Verve do more drugs and they don't make a big deal of it.
Publicity is all it is.
I was that skinny at uni as I spent my loan on silly stuff not food!!!
I hope she keeps in the media though!!!!!
Cash cow!

First of all, I looove Amy Winehouse. Back to Black is a solid, ace album.

I'm not quite sure this really fits in a jazz/blues subforum, where if anything I find it more soul-based (while definitely having jazzy flair to it). But either way, "Back to Black," "He Can Only Hold Her," "You Know That I'm No Good," "Tears Dry On Their Own," and "Love is a Losing Game" are my favorites, though the rest of the album is very good too. Nothing I'd call filler or a stinker.

If that woman lives another year, it'll be a miracle...:\
