I only have eyes for you:the flamingos Low rider Always and forever:heatwave Bee Gees-Emotions. I fell in love with this song the first time I heard it,dont know if its soul. Hey there lonely girl-Stylistics tears on my pillow:dont know just my imagination:the temptations paint it black:the stones hahaha just kidding(although I do have that) Teddy Pendergrass:Me and Mrs JONES!! Weve gotta thing gooin oooon! Whose that lady:The isley brothers(love this song, gotta snap my fingers or move ,anything when I listen to this) dedicated to the one I love:Shirelles I think thats it,I have a lot more music, but I think it falls under doo wop and classic rock and roll. Sorry that this is mostly popular music, but I pretty much grew up listening to all of this.

it's got all the right ingredients for the northern scene, could do with more brass, lol, going back to the interplay tune the local dj used this tune as part of his warm up, so nobody paid any attention except me, i asked what the tune was called and he told me it was a northen soul tune, i had heard of northen soul when iwas growing up some of the cooler bigger boys new of it, back in scotland in the mid to late 70t's it was either disco or rock.
the hesitations, soul superman, with a title like that it's gotta be a winner. world column, so is the sun, northen soul gone funky, first heard it on a $tateside compilation, great stomping tune. |
