Well we need a thread on this guy.
I'm still very new to him ( I only have Innervisions, Songs In the Key of Life and Talking Book so far) but he has been getting a lot of play time from me lately. It's been a while since i've been this excited over an artist. Innervisions is a brilliant compact collection of songs, with some of my highlights so far. I'm not sure if that is my favourite or Songs In The Key Of Life. The scope of that album is incredible, most albums of that size fall down and suffer due to what they're trying to achieve, but this has enough great jams, ballads and downright inspired pop songs to be a firm favourite with me. Even the cheesy one's are growing on me! Here's a fave song, I Wish. Later to be sampled by Will Smith of course! Thoughts anyone? |
