Default Curtis Mayfield

So what does everyone think of him? I think my favorite song will always be Ghetto Child since it was the song that single-handedly got me into him but I've started to get more into his later 70s stuff like Short Eyes and There's No Place Like America. The latter is turning into one of my favorite albums right now. I think my favorite songs from it are When Seasons Change and Blue Monday People.

This is an artist I have never really delved into but I like what I have heard of his:

Pusherman.
Freddy's Dead.
Superfly.

What's a good album to start with?

I'd probably start with Superfly but if you're feeling adventurous go with There's No Place Like America. It's excellent.

It's a pity they are classed as Soul artists.
