I also have an excellent 4 track live EP that clocks in at over 60 mins and showcase their truly brilliant laidback vibes.
really liked this

Another convert! My best friend who isn't into Reggae/Dub at all has now fallen for this band big time. OK I have bought him tickets to see them in September but he is not the sort of guy to like something for the sake of it.

They really are a sensational band.

Here are some old (perhaps less well known) tunes by FFD:

Hope - it was featured on a compilation called Conscious Roots, that version is longer and IMO better. I believe that this track was also their first ever single.

Midnight Marauders - another oldie, but damn is it a goodie.

This Room - this number was featured on Gilles Petersen's BBC Sessions.

It is interesting that on their debut album Based on a True Story, there are two tracks named Hope and This Room, but they bear almost no resemblance to these older recordings I've just posted...

I know, right? You cannot beat them live. Amazing atmosphere! I want them to come back home and play this side of the world again!

I've seen them live too, absolutely incredible. They go beyond any live act I've ever seen!

Their recent album Dr. Boondigga and The Big BW is highly recommended if you are into dub music! I'm going to review it.

Still waiting I would love to see them again but they are playing only a few days before I fly out to Switzerland so there is no way I can afford to see them and it it seems like it is their only U.K date this year too

Still chuffed that I have got to see them and bought the obligatory T shirt!
