I think he's saying the mix of 60's R&B with 70's Soul is the best fusion of music ever.
At least I hope he said that cos I'd agree, with the excepton of post punk, but I'd never dare compare the two. |

You ever checked out a series of Superfly soul compliations on CD? There is some brilliant dirty funk on them. just the sort of thing I love.
