Sweet sentiment, lovely voice. I especially like when her singing gets a little scratchy, such as around 2:00

What you have to understand is that songs like these were often recorded in one take.
It makes her performance all the more impressive.

^ In this track she makes a slight mistake, singing spy instead of fly at about 1:14.
I'd like to see some modern "soul singers" attempt this one without going blue in the face and passing out before the end of the song.
Possibly my favourite female soul singer of all time.
