It's just what's going on in my life musically and what's on my mind. I think it's turning out great, am proud of it and want people to hear it. Hence, I dabbled with the idea of making it my submission. In the old days (zip with mp3s), that would've been fine. MB comps usually haven't been about publishing.

I hadn't thought it all the way through. It was a moment of vain weakness, but it has passed. I'm prepared to not mention it again if people stop bringing it up.
