Will I Infringe On Any Copyright For This?
Ok, so my favorite musician of all time is Jon Bellion. A lot of the music I make is influenced by him. Recently I've been playing around with four chords that I really like. They are, F# G# A#m and C#. The song is at 100bpm. The problem is, I played them back in the rhythm I wanted. It was the same rhythm as Jon Bellion's "All Time Low". His chords he uses are F G Am and Em (also C as the last chord sometimes) at 90bpm. I just want to know if I used the same rhythm and the chords I have will I infringe on his copyright? I can post links comparing the two songs if anyone would like. It's only the chords and the progression that I'm worried about. The melody is completely different.

You can't claim ownership of cords on a fret board...
