I don't care for them at all. It isn't the idea, but the way they're written. It comes off as chintzy and kitschy to me. They don't have to be deep or highly metaphorical, but they read, in their current form, like a 13 year old pop musician's lyrics.

Lines like "talk is cheap" are far too cliché for even normal speech, much less song lyrics.

It also lacks a sense of flow and cohesion and seems more like an unrefined vomiting of emotion.

It was good, not great but theres something there!
