Obviously I'm fine with electronic music. Some instruments (violins, celli, saxophones) are just way harder to convincingly emulate than others (basses, drums, pianos). As for your stuff, it's pretty good. Listened to one of your albums some months ago. But I usualy prefer my ambient type stuff more noisy and harsh and/or more minimalist and hypnotic, so I didn't get too excited about it.

The whole discussion about Frownland writing pop music made me remember my 'pop song'.
It's probably still somewhat weird and a little dissonant at times, but overall more or less conventional. Check it out. I'm enjoying having rediscovered it and might attempt more stuff in that vein in the near future. https://soundcloud.com/watsche/low-ram-hip-sum

We have released all of our previously private improvised jams under our old band name. Lots of ambient and weird stuff here, since it's all made up on the spot:

Jesus the Carpenter - Bridge Hopping
New little guitar improvisation. The guitar I played this on was initially my fathers before I had it, and its sound has improved quite a bit in quality since I was hearing it as a kid.

Reluctance - The Cartridge Family
https://thecartridgefamily1.bandcamp...bum/reluctance Just released a brand new album, which I hope to create a sequel to. Inspired by Talk Talk's Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock, as well as Davis' In a Silent Way, Minimalist composers such as Philip Glass, and by Brian Eno, Alice Coltrane, and Miles Okazaki. Recorded mostly live in a school hall, although their are some virtual instruments in the mix too. Wanted to create a really atmospheric project that was emotional and engaging. I guess it's mainly Post-Rock and Jazz, though it contains a blend of genres that I think make it quite unique and cinematic. Would really appreciate some feedback, and maybe a download if you like what you hear! Cheers guys.
