This site is probably easier to use if you're straight recording without editing.

Vocaroo | Online voice recorder

Aw shucks, you guys are too nice. Now I just need to learn how to play something other than "Little Mary Had a Lamb" on the guitar...

Dusting off the equipment a bit last night, I threw this one together. I was a bit buzzed, so there's no bass in it since I pretty much crossed the 'too drunk to play coherently' line by the time I went to record some over it. It's just an idea anyway, something I threw at my buddy to give him a taste of the direction I'd like to go. He liked it.

Nice and crunchy. But to be totally honest not up to your usual stuff. What's really funny is that I can hear some of the same things I do when I'm too buzzed. One being not resolving licks as good as normal - falling back on cliches instead.

I hear ya. I listen to the guitar solo's in songs like Jack Whites' Lazaretto and wonder why the hell am I trying so hard?

****ing around and shaping out some new tracks last weekend with the metal band.
Our style is getting a lot more Southern every week, especially since I bought the telecaster.

Acid King, Kyuss, The Allman Brothers, and 16 Horsepower have really been leaking into our playing.
Poor quality single microphone garage recordings but you'll get the idea.

2:39 and beyond, doom metal meets slide guitar and trip hop beats, really happy with how this one is developing:

Probably my favourite track from our current set:

Mondo heavy riffs, fun duel lead bridge, massive outro:

Ok, 3 things here:
  1. Nice tunage. Doomish with a full slab of Southern. I can hear the Kyuss in there.
  2. Love how you're piggy backing off the bottle rocket site. I kind of do the same with a different venture. But yeah, those are some cool rockets.
  3. I missed a whole section of crazy in the Confessional thread a few days ago. I clicked your sig.
