Stop worrying about tone and start worrying about having a voice that's good to listen to. It's like marvelling at the craftsmanship of a gun as you mow down twenty kids in a high school cafeteria.

My point is that I do think it’s good to listen to in the instances where I’m executing well, which currently is not all that often because singing is ****ing hard but yea

Total strangers have told me they like my singing, it’s not like I’m just going off of what my mom says or something.
