^^^I really wanna play guitar over some of that. Like at the end of that first track, it reminded me a bit of a riff from somewhere I can't seem to remember. Really well produced though, from what I'm hearing as I skim through a bit of it. I'm just not really into the 8 bit stuff (I think that's what it is??). It's lacking warmth and dynamics, I guess you could say. If this was part of a video game, like Solstice maybe, oh ****... I'd have been all over it. Your abilities are not lost though. The song structures and your use of whats available show your true talent. Really liking the tune that starts at around 9:30... I'm still listening and typing... I'm really liking this.
It's what you're used to, and you make it work. That's some praise-worthy **** my friend.

I'm glad you find something to appreciate about it. It's true that it's got a relatively cold sound. It's written in software that traces a line back to the sort of software that Amiga music was usually written in. The samples are often home-made though, through an old Adlib music program. It's a sound I'm so closely tied to that I can't possibly imagine what anyone else than me will hear it like. To me, it's as familiar and taken-for-granted as the air I breathe. If you wanna shred on something, I put all of my music files in publicly available Google drive folders. Here's the link for the .it and .mp3 files for this particular album. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1SH...V1qBNjqrnjZl2U Make sure to throw it my way if you make anything! I might also re-upload the album some time this christmas. I've found a few sequences I'd like to change a tiny bit. My first wrap-up of an album NEVER manages to be the final one. |

And I'm afraid I don't know a lot about Kraftwerk. I have some vague idea what they do and that they're important, but I think I must have listened to like one track of theirs ever. If they have music video where the beat is synced with things passing by a train, then that's the one I've heard. That describes my level of familiarity |

That sound that starts around 0.47 is what reminds me of this Kraftwerk song in particular: |
