I used to record a lot more, but I haven't done anything in years, when I get a few more instruments and an 8-track I'll probably start again. I did both of these with a field recorder and audacity, and they're more outlines if anything.

Nice! really cool atmospheric stuff! That first song sounds like something that would be playing right before and or during the final showdown of an epic kung fu flick

So after a consistent stink of unreliability with my current sound engineer, we decided to pull the plug and look elsewhere. We were originally going to record our whole album with him but it doesn't look like it's gonna work out that way unfortunately as he is being a serious lag.

So I have here the only song we did get to record in his studio but it came out really damn good imo so I'm happy with it. It is a buzzkill in ways yet semi bittersweet. So what I have here is the full version of Sinking. I released a preview of it a few weeks ago on here now you can get the full effect!

For some good news, my bassist and good friend has another guy and studio we can go to soon so things are looking up! Now we are really going to be working on this new album in this new studio. All the songs are written and ready to record, can't wait!!

My (somewhat rushed) cover of Simon & Garfunkel's "Kathy's Song." Complete with a few bad notes sung and messed up guitar parts. Please note I can do this song much better IF I'm not recording myself. As soon as I start recording myself, I completely crack under pressure and start messing up.

Also, I downtuned my guitar a bit so I could more easily hit the high notes.

I'm sure if I did a few more takes I could do a better job, but the one above was already about Take 8, so I figured it was good enough.

I love that song, it makes me cry every time. Good job, what a pleasant listen. I usually don't even care about peoples' covers but that song is so special to me, I couldn't help myself.
