It has a restrained organic feel to it that brings to mind, structurally, to me at least, Half Japanese, and texturally certain aspects of Sun Ra and The Art Ensemble of Chicago (and Sue Anne Harkey- if you've ever heard her stuff. I Tell You Everything (Just Not Outloud) ---masterpiece---) . I love how unforced and spacious it feels.

I feel like you've successfully and intentionally bookended it with the opening and closing tracks. I also assume that it is your intention to leave it as it is as improvised music. However, the opening track is in my opinion better because it's more hypnotic. At 11 minutes and change there's a lot invested in that final track.

I give this release 4 out of 5 stars.
Wow thanks man! Very glad you enjoyed it. I can definitely hear where you're coming from with Half Japanese, since my guitar had two strings tuned to near unison that gave it that dissonant jangly sound. Thanks for the feedback.

Yeah, I understand your point. You don't understand that that's just part of getting feedback. You post a **** song, could be your only **** song, and that could be reason enough to stop people from listening to anything else. You could have a ****ty album cover that stops somebody from giving you a listen. You could be a complete ******* and that would stop people from giving you a listen. Maybe, just maybe, you post a photo where the part in your hair just didn't hit the potential listener right and that was reason enough for them not to give you a listen. Is it fair to judge a whole artist based on one song? No. Is it fair to not want to listen to more from an artist after just one song? Yes. I actually rarely RARELY listen to artists on the internet hypocritically. Most of you are lucky enough to get somebody that pays for studio time to give you a chance. And, in my professional studio time payed opinion, most of you don't actually suck.

Edit: My favorites are Mondo Bungle, 1Blankmind and I think it's Plainview that has the Rainbow Grey album. Least favorites are Ki and Frownland.
I'm so tired of this stupid example that you keep using to back up your point. Just because you've worked in a studio doesn't mean your opinion about receiving and giving feedback means anything more or less than if I were to do it in the same fashion. I've made music, you've made music, Tristan has made music, we've all made music. Just because you record professionally gives you no grounds to walk all over everybody elses music because you seem to consider your music superior to the others. I don't work in a studio, neither does 99% of the members here, that doesn't mean they aren't allowed to give a professional opinion if they know enough about the genre their providing feedback for. Take Mondo for instance, I take his criticism seriously because his music is what has influenced my music, and so on and so on.

Your first sentence in this entire post pretty much negates your implications that you don't feel like you're superior to everybody. Not everybody is going to like your music and in the way you say it is "if you're not a fan of my music, your feedback is fake therefore invalid" which says a lot about you and how you want to express yourself through this medium.

Just on that last track I wonder what kind of effect some of the guitar stylings from Jesus Loves You would have had.

Because they make profit out of your paid downloads. If you're successful enough to break the free download limit, they want money out of that. Can't say I hate the system though, I think it's quite fair that if I was successful enough I would expect a few paid downloads, and if not then they can at least wait until the next month.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

No, you just like to rip hidden meanings that aren't there from what I say because you're insecure.

I didn't say their opinions are invalid, I said that I'm here to get the people that will like my music. I never even implied the people that hate my music are fake, in fact I implied the opposite but that would take some reading comprehension from you to understand that and I don't expect you to try that hard. So, you get a thumbs up for trying. Go get some milk and a cookie and relax your brain a bit before it over heats.

Also, I've recorded in a studio. Actually, my phone number is saved in the studio.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.
