Being recorded by professionals doesn't mean ****. It's purely about the talent of the artist. Take Metallica for example. Their first few albums are amazing. The quality in those is horrible. The albums like St. Anger had way better production quality and those albums suck.

It's not a waste because I have standards. My biggest goal at the end of the day, whether I make money or I get anybody else to listen at all, is to make music that I want to hear, and I don't want to hear ****ty recordings slopped on top of a ****ty mix that is unmastered (not saying that's you) so I have a set of standards that perhaps you guys don't have. To me, it's worth every dime to have a song that sounds superb. Then again, it's not my hobby it's my passion whether it's a job or not.

Point being, Ki's temper tantrum is insulting when I put forth all that extra effort and don't expect, nor feel entitled to, everybody to take the time to listen to it.

^It's just rather silly that from my mood infected temper tantrum you take away that people don't listen to your music because you put money into it. Maybe people don't like the genre you produce, or maybe people just don't have the time. I've admitted that my behavior yesterday was unnecessary and apologized for it. But once again, just because you spend money on your music doesn't give you any reason to assume special privilege for your music. Everybody at this forum puts out good stuff, and 99% of us don't use money to do it. Does that make us not as good as you, Lucem?

Not what I said at all, learn to read kidiot.

I was saying that I don't expect anybody to listen to it.

Edit:I specifically said I'm not entitled, you are the one who went on the tantrum claiming to be more entitled than anybody here, claiming to put more effort in what you do when you probably put less effort than anybody here. If anybody gets the idea that I'm stroking my own ego or saying I'm better than everybody they are just being insecure.

Any implication that Lucem is calling other people inferior is entirely on YorkeDaddy and Ki's interpretations of what he's saying, because he's totally not saying that.

I take it serious enough skip eating for a few days to pay for them hours in the booth or to be up all night tweaking things for just one song so I can get it sounding as perfect as I can get it.

All that I want in return for all that work is good music. I just want my music to be good. And I got some bangers, the rest doesn't suck so I'm happy.
