Not only did I not know it, I'm not even really sure what that means.

Just finished this small ~19 minute album late yesterday and uploaded it today.
It's a great occasion to open a bottle of champagne, because I can see that the total runtime of all the tracks I have ever completed is now over 8 hours! Specifically 08:07:44. Not that anyone cares, but I think it's pretty neat. If other MB members want to check and share their totals, then that would be really interesting! At least I think so |

Also, listened to that album MicShazam. Very interesting stuff. There was a transition at one point that was really iffy, I think between tracks 1 and 2. Felt you could've done a bit more there to tie it together. You have some strong melodies and when your tracks are really busy there's a lot of cool things to listen for, I like it a lot during those sections. During the slower sections the cold plastic feeling of the artificial instruments, especially the drums, shines through a bit more harshly and it's not a positive. Admittedly this is a reason I've shied away from drums for so long, because of all the instruments I find percussion to be the most difficult to employ successfully via electronic methods. But that's just me.
Overall cool stuff thumbsup and whatnot

I'm not sure exactly which transition you meant, but if you mean the way track 1 changes to track 2, then I totally admit that I never even consider the transition from one track to another. I just make 3 seconds of silence and then move on to the next track. That's a bad habit, considering how much you can do if you put some more thought into it. Also, due to my complete lack of musical training, transitions from one musical segment to another are sometimes slightly clumsy. Sometimes I just can't figure out how to glue two pieces together, so I have to throw parts out that I like. |
