Spoiler for hey look it's my album:
The album is finally starting to come along and it's sounding good so far. Recording is a pain in the ass because I have no idea how to properly produce or mix, but I'm just recording my v1.0 tracks right now so I can go in and make them cleaner and more intricate later. So far I have 2 of 9 tracks with next to all the base tracking done besides drums. |

I'm actually working on a lo-fi folk album on my own. Keep y'all updated, but here's a thing: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7J...p=docslist_api |

Also the new album is closer to the Empty House demos then anything I guess so not really folk-punk, but closer to my "folk" stuff, or at least what I imagined that album being if it had ever gotten past the rough demos that I had. Lots of acoustic and electric guitars, pianos, vocals harmonies, electronic experiments, a long form sound experiment mixed with spoken word and synth textures. It's the grandest thing I've ever attempted to create and also taking forever to make (a year and a half). |

More straightforward, raw black metal leading into huge drone. I think I improved the drums a lot here, everything is much fuzzier and badass. What do you think?

Idle Grounds - To the Shimmering Grove This here album is a split between Mondo and I. Four shorter tracks of mine are sandwiched between two longer tracks of his. I think it's a great combination of our styles and is a fun, varied experience to listen to. Give it a shot and let us know how you feel about it! https://idlegrounds.bandcamp.com/

https://soundcloud.com/the_cartridge_family/newdawn A Latin infused Chamber folk track. A bit of a free jazz/post rock influence. Would love some feedback xxx

Wouldn't be out of place on Ultravisitor. Your whole sound has gotten much more organic and mature in a pretty short time. I do feel like some additional element, something that would really bring the whole thing home is missing, but I guess you could say that about pretty much everything.
