My third and most likely final Daydream Society release of 2016 will come out the first week of May on my final day as a college undergraduate.

Sounds like Johnny Cash on his deathbed. Beautiful.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

Daydream Society - Daze End

Releases May 6th, 2016. The day I graduate from college.

My entire Daydream Society "career" has built up towards this album. I began in 2013 with a fancy new copy of Ableton Live and a mild interest in ambient music. The project has now developed into a journal of sorts chronicling my life as I go through several major transition periods and the musical styles and ideas have come along for the ride. Everything I've learned and developed over the past few years is being harnessed into what I hope to be my masterpiece. It's not that I haven't put in my all with my previous albums, it's just that I didn't quite yet have the intellectual tools, for lack of a better phrase, to make the best Daydream Society album I was capable of. I'm pulling out all the stops for this one, and I don't think anyone that enjoys my work is going to be disappointed.

Beautiful cover as always. I've got some catching up to do as well, hopefully this'll be more fulfilling after I've seen the growth from album one towards this, but planning on it being amazing anyways.

First time recording the Thai Phin, weird finicky little instrument. Pretty tinny tone, even when fingerpicked, but I do like the way it rings out.

Some good 3 string blues. The tone is somewhat reminiscent of a Concert, or Tenor Uke.
