I dont think anyone has said this BUT if his sole goal is more listens I can essentially guarantee that shorter tracks will generate those

It's actually not which is why it's weird that you bemoan that you don't get many listeners when part of the reason is clearly volume of albums and track length. Not saying you shouldn't make things the way you wanna make them and your stuff IS good but personally I try to keep track lengths low
