This one was pretty fun, experimenting with gradual tempo shifts / no metronome. More instrumental acoustic, two tracks, rhythm and lead.

Listening back to it I'm kind of getting a Dayvan Cowboy (Boards of Canada) vibe from it.

Complete track listing and song lengths:

How do you make an album about love without using any lyrics? You'll all be able to hear my attempt in just a couple weeks.

I think instrumental music is better at conveying emotions like love than typically sappy lyrics tbh.

The average simpleton you grab off the street probably wouldn't think that, but yeah I think lame love lyrics often come off as disingenuous

Wolves in Sheepskin - Baby Sushi

There may or may not be a record on the way.

Judging from the quality of your last album I'm very excited for this.

Also quick update for my album to anyone who cares. I'm sort of stalled right now because I have to wait to get my laptop so I can properly set up my mixing board and DAW, once that gets up and running it'll be a few months (hopefully?) of recording, sampling, producing, and mixing before the album is ready. Everything is written for the album, it's nothing like Love Over Mind And Body or really anything else I have on my Bandcamp or Soundcloud, there's a krautrock influenced track, a friend co-wrote one half of one of the songs, only one song exceeds the 10 minute mark, everything on it is the most well put together music I've ever made. This album is over a year in the making, in fact one song dates back before Love was released, and I'm crazy crazy proud of it, I can't wait for people to hear it.

Awesome stuff, I love listening to an album that the creator slaved over for months and months, it feels like a really major piece of the individual's personality and life are part of the record.

This is the album I've wanted to make since I started recording stuff when I was 13 and started writing for when I first began Machine+ when back in my freshman year of high school, now nearly four years later I finally not only have the ability songwriting-wise to do so, but I have the equipment as well. I'm so ****ing hyped to show people this.

I know the feeling of having a vision for an album but not having something that's needed to make it (in my case that's a lot of stuff, I don't even own a working electric guitar anymore). I'd ****ing love to make a jazzy post rock album someday but that is literally impossible right now.

Exactly, you get it, and I'm basically the same way! Sooner or later once this album is done I'm going to try and form a post rock band of some kind (but not crescendocore ****); the way I'm going my natural progression from here is going further into electronics and forming some sort of experimental post rock band.
