I sit here all day, starring out the window
Thinking about what i should say
I realize I've been for from right
I should have told her all along
I'm not always right
But I've been sitting here staring out the window all day
Trying to think what i should say
It's been a long day and lately i haven't been thinking straight...... that's all I've got for now, thanks

Well first of all, don't listen to anyone who says its ****. People on here will do that. Just keep writing from the heart is my advice. There's more to music than just the lyrics, there are plenty of people who write great songs with decent lyrics. something else to remember, every song can't be this grand masterpiece of deep feeling or thought. Its those kinds of feelings that push people into writing, so it's definitely going to be a tendency for a beginner. It also has something to do with hearing those touching and beautiful songs and being inspired by them. But your first isn't going to be a masterpiece, remember that.
