I've got a Shelby '68 Ford Mustang
Just like Steve McQueen
It's 428 cubic inches
And it's the quickest car I've ever seen

It's silver with stripes both sides
Black leather and tints all around
When it cruises at around a hundred
You should hear that beautiful sound

It picks up from nought to sixty
In under five point five
When you foot's flat on the floor pan
Boy! You really know you're alive

We're all OK in a straight line
But bends can be kinda tight
If you're not ready with the brakes Man
You can really give yourself a fright

So she's going back to the showroom
Where it should'a always been
I went flying like a bullet
