Default Anyone Who Has Had Their Lyrics Bought

I am drawing some compairsions with different companies I am looking into for a research project.

If anyone has ever been paid(by terms of a contract) or paid up-front for lyrical content. Please give me some details(w/e you feel comfortable with)

I would like some details on percentages, time it took from initial solicitation to them calling you and accepting your work, insight on methods you took finding these relationships, and further insight on how you think the process can be improved. Also, some details on the overall 'friendliness' of the people you communicated with. Were you treated in a 'brush-off' manner? Or did they pursue you and/or negotiate the terms until they got what they wanted and you did as well?

Thanks!

You should dig deeper. Listen to some Common, Mos Def, or Talib Kweli.
