I sense a lot of resentment in these lyrics. Letting out your feelings is the first step to writing good lyrics, true, but now you must attempt to take what you have written and condense it into something a little more constructive. You know that mayo is disgusting, but now you must ask yourself "why is it disgusting?" You will never truly know yourself or your lyrics until you are able to answer that question.
Also, throw in some interpretative dancing. For indie cred.

What's wrong with mayo? I think it's pretty good, alot better than that crappy Miracle Whip.

I see a deeper message in this song, I just don't know what it is.

I'm afraid to ask what regular mayo is made of.
Probably ground up cow fetuses and tangiable lack of hope.

Mayo is tastey on everything! Except for pork rinds. Lesson learned.

Haha, well at first I thought it was a funny bunch of lyrics you got there. Then I paused for a moment and took a listen to what was coming out of my headphones. If Pink Floyd can sing about gnomes and unicorns I suppose someone might as well sing about mayo . Other than that I thought is was really well constructed and full of humor, which I think can make a song quite excellent. Wouldn't be one of my favorite songs I suppose, but entertaining non the less, a bit like Frank Zappa.
