Since I've been doing my fair share of criticising I thought I'd post one of my somber works to give you the chance to flame me.

You

It’s raining in my heart today
You’re never here, you’re always far away
The ravens crow, lashed by the rain
A misty view I see again
You never called to me before
Inclement days seen from my door
Just thoughts of you, on my mind dwell
Stopped in my tracks, can't hear the bell
The thunder cracks above my head
The lightning strikes where Wallace bled
I miss you here, your healing kind
There’s nothing left but in my mind
Return to me, you are the one
My solitary days, by you undone
Stand with me, here by my side
To live a life so filled with pride.
