AWAKE YET?

Are you awake yet?
Are you awake yet?
'Cause we are all set...
To get outta here.

Still you try to fake it...
But you cannot shake it...
This pain you feel everyday.

And we're off...
Whether you follow or not.
Had enough...
Is this what you've fought for?

You're left behind...
But I know you'll do just fine...
When all is said and done.
You'll be ready when you're ready...
To get the hell outta here.

And we're off...
Whether you follow or not.
Had enough...
Is this worth fighting for?*
This is what you've fought for.
What you get out of bed for.

You're awake and...
Done faking...
You're awake and...
Done faking...
You're awake.
Any artists feel up to making a song of this? I want it to be a goth/pop (contradictory, I know) sort of thing, with subtleties of hard rock. If you think you can do it, PM me some of your music and we'll talk.

I'm not one to be picked on.

In 24 hours, can't believe how much I've lost.
Won the battle, but at what cost?
It's like a one-sided coin tossed.
And you just happened to call heads.
But believe me, you will tell no tales.
In 24 hours, everything's gone to hell.

A race...
To the tip-top of the food chain.
Make haste...
Or I may find myself slain.

I will not die like a bitch, son.
I'm not one to be picked on.

In 24 hours, everything's gone to hell.

I will not live this way.
Being scared every day.
I will not live this way.
One must go so one may stay.
And I will not live this way.

A chase...
But the tables have turned.
Displaced...
You better be concerned.
Never...
Never again will I be the victim.

Next 24 hours, your existance will be lost.
I don't give a **** 'bout the cost.
Next 24 hours, you're going straight to hell.
I'd like someone to take this on as well. I only ask that it's heavy and that the heaviest part be the bridge ("I will not live this way..."). This will be the last time I ask for a specific lyric to be recorded as a song for a while, but feel free to ask about any of them.

5,000 views! I'm surprised this thread has gone this well and this long. When I first started this in March, I expected to maybe post 7 or 8 lyrics, get a few reviews and be done with it. I certainly didn't think I'd still be writing on a regular basis 8 months later and (not to brag) writing as well I am. I wanna thank everyone who reviewed, gave advice, or just helped me rack up views, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

Now I’m just going to close my eyes
Ignore the bright colors of dark lies
And everything that’s tearing me down
Wait here for my soul to come around

Tranquility achieved through patience
The only way passed present-tense
Making amends with my grudge with time
So that I may move forward in line

My whole life feels like an equation
Wrought to be saved for an occasion
I’m not nigh divisible by fear
Still the calculator may be cleared

I'm thinking about using this lyric for the song I'm working on, though I may decide to keep it instrumental. Anyway, this is basically about finding enjoyment in witnessing the apocalypse.

MUSHROOM

Mushroom
Mushroom
Mushroom

Clouds dance over my head
Rain falls and melt my skin
I know this is backwards
But I like the way it feels

Mushroom
Mushroom
Mushroom

Hope did live, now it's dead
To all us decent men
I know this is backwards
But I like the way we end

I like the way it ends
I like the way the mushroom climbs
Across the sky
I like the way it hurts
I like the way the mushroom kills
Across the land

(The way the)
Mushroom
(The way the)
Mushroom
The way the mushroom kills

I've been thinking about what I wanted to do with the lyric, "Awake Yet?", for a while.
In a perfect world, I'd have a female vocalist to work with. She would sing the first two stanzas. We would both sing the next stanza, me with growling vocals and her actually singing it. Our two voices would, of course, have to compliment eachother here, which may be something we'd have to work on. I would sing the whole next part. Then back to us singing together until "Is this worth fighting for?", and I would sing the next two lines. Then she would finish by singing the last five lines.
The instrumentals would poppy, but heavy. They'd be fairly consistent, changing only a little throughout the song. This is something I might need help with, seeing as I'm not very good at any instrument.
This is mostly just me thinking out loud, but say something if you think you can help with instrumentals and/or vocals, 'cause it would be very cool to make this happen.

You’re cold
Icicles form off your bones
Polar bears inside your soul
You’re alone in the tundra
Alone

You’re cold
You try to make a snowman
But it looks just like the reaper
A sign of where you’re heading
You’re so cold

You’re cold
There are still many questions
Like how are you still alive?
Might you really be in hell?
How can this ice make you melt?
You melt

EDIT: I didn't really like this piece much at first, but now that I read it again, I like it alot!

SURE-PRIZE

It's okay to die a little...

I was sure my prize was in my hands...
When I looked again it had turned to sand.
It seems I am nothing now, but I'm still a man.

Surprises are for the excitible.
Not for me, payer of the liars toll.
Sold it all for a chance of something more.
Sold it all, but I'll never sell my soul.

It's okay to die a little...
Here and there.
It's what keeps you truly alive.

I was sure my prize was in my grasp.
When I looked again I'd gone from first to last.
It seems I've got nothing now, but I've still got my past.
I can hear a little deftones in this...
