Beginning of A song
You weren't always there for me,
Cause you never cared for me, You would always tell me who to be, But when I would, you'd never seem to see. I know that you lied to me, I wish that you had tried for me, You had me beggin on my knees, Of our friendship that I'd never see. <3 |

The Last Return
I know now, that you're far away,
There's nothing you can do, or you can say, To make this go away, or to make it better, As if better was a word that we could say, Better's gone away. Not a part of me today, Now we're gone, back to yesterday, I have found a way, Lost in dreams, you're pulling at the seams, Will it pull you back to me, Finally? Things are cold, this is getting hard, You're the teardrops that are falling from my heart, Falling down on me, make it hard to breathe, I'm starting to believe That you never wanted me.. Now we're gone, back to yesterday, I have found a way, Lost in dreams, you're pulling at the seams, Will it pull you back to me, Finally? And we're testing onour wings so we can fly, We're here, and gone, or so, it meets the eye, Now we're gone, back to yesterday, I have found a way, Lost in dreams, you're pulling at the seams, Will it pull you back to me, Finally? Untitled --- Starting..
Countless hours of fallen tears,
Mixed with love, and stolen fears, And you're acting like it's nothing now, Pretending that you want me now. It used to be the snap of your fingers, I'd be right at your side, With a broken heart, and concrete eyes, I've finally grown a spine And I say You had your chance to be my number one, Your broken promise that's been said and done. With my, tearless eyes, I'll tell you I've moved on, And so I sing this song. Last edited by On ASunnyDay; 02-23-2010 at 04:28 PM. |

Random Emo Poem :)
The rain is just tears for what I've lost,
The final sum, of the highest cost. It hides my tears, and what I feel, Making me ask myself, if these feelings are real? The empty words of which you've spoken, The lonesome forevers, eternally broken, The feel of your touch, forever trapped in my dreams, I'm clearly just dreaming, of you and of me. When you seem far away, I know you're still here, I just close my eyes, and you'll always be near, I remember those times, where you'd hold me tight, To go back to those times, I wish I may, or I might. Oooh, you posted a lot since last I visited!
And it's pretty good, too! But... wait a second... a breakup song... another breakup song... and... another breakup song... zzzzzzzzzzz..... I'm starting to think you're getting stuck in one place. Staying in one place too long causes writer's block. Or at least it has for me. Anyway, as for the individual songs, I liked "Random Emo Poem" the best. I would also advise you keep that title, for teh lulz. I liked the last lines of each stanza a lot. I think that you started with an extremely cliche metaphore, but it lead naturally to the lines "It hides my tears, and what I feel,/Making me ask myself, if these feelings are real" which I really like. It shouldn't have a question mark because technically it's not a question, but that's no big deal. Anyway, that was a pretty generic metaphore. I also think that the line "To go back to those times, I wish I may, or I might" quite a bit.

Actually, none of these songs are about breakups.. I write without knowen inspiration sometimes, I'll just have an idea, even if itsn't from a personal experience. All these songs are fairly old. I'm having intense writers block, and haven't written anything in a few weeks. None of the ones up here are about MY breakups. Ones that are from expirence, are from perspective, and are, like, not really too personal. The ones that are gushy, aren't really my expirences, but just how I'm feeling. And thanks, if you have any sujestions, don't hesitate to tell me.

OMG, I'm so sorry! It really seemed like that. This isn't the first time I've horribly misinterpreted somebody's songs.

Hey don't sweat it, it seems like they are don't they? None of them are about my breakups, I can't write about ones I've had, I just kind of write about the mistreatings I've gone through, it usually starts one thing, and ends something very different.
