I felt the song became more arresting around 2:08 when it picked up and got stronger. I always prefer the parts in your songs where you are singing full out and have stronger instrumentation, compared to the longer, more languid and warbly parts where you are using your falsetto. My feedback reflects that I don't love falsetto in general...so, I don't mean it personally...you have a nice falsetto...I just don't gravitate strongly toward falsetto. Also, like you note, there were some serious kinks in the recording, such as the sounds of squeaky chairs. I felt the production quality of your earlier recordings was better than this one, though it is very nice that friends are helping you by doing the recording. Oh dear. I've been watching American Idol. Is it showing in my harsher-than-usual critique?

Hey dude if you record a song with a whole numbered tempo i could add some drum programming and percussion (basically listen to a metronome while playing)
or i could just send you a loop (my drum loops are usually made up of samples) |

which program bro? I'm using protools 8.0.1. and can create samples/loops, but I'm keen to do something.

i use garageband (i know its hated, but only by those who've never used it)
i've basically used gb long enough i know how to get around all the limitations the only limitation i cannot get around is only being able to create whole number tempos (not a big deal) i thought about some collaboration, and since i've never truly done that before i thought i'd do something simple |

actually its rudiments were yoko and lennon. kind of a tie in for 'true love', or soulmate, or whatever you call it.
