if you're concerned about not being part of 'scene kid BS' then you're letting that same scene BS control your tastes. indirect attention is still attention.

Default numbing the pain

Dreams torn to pieces, broken like glass
Hope faded away, withered like leaves
Not knowing is blessing, ignorance the only protection

(chorus x1)

Nothing is numbing my pain
The fragments of my faith
Became the blade in my hand
Just darkness my eyes see
Pushed me to the end of all dead-end-streets

A curse - cannot lie to myself
I'm doomed - cannot silence my heart
Fear is the tool, conformity our medicine

(chorus x1)

How can I smile as this age dies, like everybody else
Dancing around the fire, that burns this world

(chorus x1)

Cannot bend down, I would just break
I hate myself for playing their game
Parents poison their children, never teach them to question
If it only wasn't for this certainty in me
I am a giant in their tiny world

^^best ever

Then what could you possibly find so alluring about these lyrics? Could you maybe go into your feelings about them a bit further instead of just posting them with no reference to where they come from or an actual elaboration as to why we should pay attention to them? What was your intention with making this thread? Why did you put it in the general forums? Etc etc...

Well, that answers one of my questions. So, what about "numbing the pain" makes it the "best ever"? Is there some pain you need numbing? Having you tried aspirin? Or is it something more deep, something that hurts your adolescent soul? Tell us more about this "pain" of yours, mm?
