What's with all of the dots? Do you keep drifting in and out of conciousness?

either way the worst lyrics i've heard.....
have to be Dir en Grey's enlish translation to ZAN posted below:

remains -ZAN-

painted with saliva
a paling body was
clung to within sight
a distorted picture of cruelty

even emotionlessness is rotting
dance a short life
the memory I saw at the end
you laughing... die

*

Psycho while warping, revolving
Psycho cruelty unchanging
Psycho Past Trap
Psycho Past Trip
by.... Death Trap

**

Lyrics - Kyo
Music - Kaoru

* The words Kyo mumbles here are:

you are not here
you are laughing
you are not here
I am not here

** The words Kyo mumbles here are:

you are not here
I am not here
you are not here
I am not here
I am coming

Default Refrain

So Im writing this song and the refrain is a bitch (as always) to come up with. What are your opinions of refrains, or songs without them? Let me hear your thoughts, and if you know any, let me know.

a song without a refrain is not a song at all....

depends on the style really.

A chorus (refrain) is a integral part of pop and pop rock songs but many heavy style of music do not include them at all. Pay attention to the sound you're going for and if it feels right add one. I often will have similar sounding chorus's but change up the wording a bit if it sounds too dull.
