Refrain
So Im writing this song and the refrain is a bitch (as always) to come up with. What are your opinions of refrains, or songs without them? Let me hear your thoughts, and if you know any, let me know.

depends on the style really.
A chorus (refrain) is a integral part of pop and pop rock songs but many heavy style of music do not include them at all. Pay attention to the sound you're going for and if it feels right add one. I often will have similar sounding chorus's but change up the wording a bit if it sounds too dull.
