Being a musician, I can tell you that's not something you want to say on a site of musicians (assuming there's a number of serious musicians here). Artists take their work seriously. Even comedians practice the hell out of routines.

Saying that it doesn't have to be taken seriously is an insult to myself, and other artists.

Though I know it wasn't the intent.

You're on a private site, that the admin pays server fees and domain costs for (hosting a site can be expensive, and considering that this is a VB board, it costs about a hundred per year to keep it running).
