What do these acronyms mean?
Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong section of the forum. I'm new here. I need some help and I figured that since music writers are here, you might be able to help me out.
I'm trying to buy some music online, but I'm trying to get the right one. You know how there's different versions and arrangements. I found some sheet music that I want, but these four things came up for the same song and I don't know the difference. So I dont' know which one to get! *tear* I'm so confused. Does anyone know what SSA, SAB, and SATB stand for and what they mean? And what's "showtrax cd"? Thanks! |

as far as i can gather a showtrax cd is a digital form of sheet music that is distributed on a cd-rom. it plays an accompaniment track also.
ShowTrax - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia i'm thinking the acronyms are in relation to the different versions of the music available whether it's completely solo or with partial or full accompaniment. |
