''We stand alone together'' - Poetry by me (lyrics, member)

Hi, I just registered at this forum. I had never written poetry and/or any lyrics before even if i often feels like I have to write my thoughts.

So, I tried. Please give me any feedback you wan't at this one and please respect that I am new to this so I don't know If It's ''good'' or completely.. Waste. However, I feel good about it.

The text is not completely done yet but almost.

I guess you all will understand in wich era It is set in. Here's the text.

We stand alone together

Dear brothers in arms, young and old
The courage you showed we may not forget
In worm times, In cold times,
In heaven, in earth
You showed courage, love, and lost
For life in Liberty and thoughts of a better world
We remember your existence in our time and in everyone's time
To be strong and to sacrafice and to be the one gone to heaven
Believe in God or not, no heroes no peace no love and land
But only the wish that it shouldn't have a cost
The lovely brave men that were lost
Gone to paradise for a cost
The world wasn't lost

Without the brave heroes in the field
World would stand alone in the cold
We should all live our life and try to see
Do the best and feel free
The once agian peaceful world they gave
How long it will last, how long we will stand
Our dreams finally came through with a cost
Until the bombs fall once agian in a foreign land
Wich the heroes children once agian stop

They all stood alone together
forever, whenever gathered
In the shadow of war wich is dark and torn
The tears and blood that was spilt finally had a prize
But it cost many civilian soldiers life

Dear brothers in arms..
You are all written in history... Forever.
