Default Marooned

This song's cheesy as hell, wrote this one after the demise of my first love.

my lady i miss you
i long for your soft hair
i know where you've been
i never knew how much i care
you wrote me a letter
it said write back soon
i'm not sure i will
cause i'm feeling marooned

do i want you back again
or just to be your friend
couldn't be a tougher choice
when you can't see the end
and i swear that i loved you
but i wont love you soon
cause the thought of hurting again
has left me marooned

for every rhyme there is a reason
for every dark there is a light
o'er every life looms a death
for every kiss another fight
and i do believe in miracles
but i cant see one soon
for what was once within us
has left us both marooned

i'm willing to move on
i just need some time
and to remember what
was yours and what was mine
to sort this whole thing over
and the hour will be soon
when we will forget
that we were ever marooned

Notice how most songs dwell on the topic of either on unfound love or lost love? Strange isn't it? But sure is good to express. Rock on.

New songwriters will always write about losing girlfriends or boyfriends. It is a natural thing.

Yeah i wrote this when I was 13, so naturally it's pretty predictable/boring.

Yeah, Brand New is my favorite band and that album is amazing.
