What have you heard? Christ, he's nothing if not eclectic. He's hardly an archetypical singer-songwriter.

I agree that Dylan's great, but you've got to admit he's a bit corny and when that mixes with Country and the small amount of Techno he's brought to his music it does sound a bit weird... but don't get me wrong I love Dylan. My older brother and my dad played him for me like three years ago, strangely enough though I havnt bought a CD of his yet.

He does have a strange singing voice, but I think he does it well. His lyrics are great, too. One of my favorites.

Dylan brought a small amount of techno to music?

How is he corny? Where are you getting this? No, Lay Lady, Lay doesn't count.

yeh i like what he says, not just words and he has a different sound. his voice is unique better than some of those nice voices we here all the time that are comerically viable and sing about the same old stuff. it gives hope to us less vocally challenged, if only i could wright like him. others that come to mind like guthrie and cohen also have lyrics that say something.
