I wonder why you break up your lines. Does it make your poem longer? No. It confuses me sometimes of how to read the line, or the whole sentence, and I have to reread the stanza to get it. There are no forced rhyme, which I like...you say what you think and your point is delivered well. Fix up your layout and put the lines together as you would say it out loud. It makes something that should flow perfectly too confusing for the reader <<<only my opinion.

No. I brake up the lines, so you can get several thoughts out at once. This can be read several ways, one line is one thought, a pause, another thought. Strung together it's a poem. It's how I've read poetry my entire life and sometimes how I speak. Poems are sometimes meant to be read over and over to be "gotten".
