write
I hate when you must write something
you need to write something but you try and everything seems contrived and you look outside and it's all very grey but you know someone great has written about that before and the trees in the park are very bare and black but you wouldn't dare to write about that and the buildings blink out conversations with each other but of course you don't know what they're saying and all the while you must write something you need to write something but you are too afraid to try |

Haha, I love this. I will hold this close to my heart. What writer hasn't felt this way before? You always hear about - write something that means something to you. Then you figure it out and you're like oh man, this has been written about over and over. The sky is nice today? Oops... written about... The trees are bare... that's cool looking. But who gives a flying one about trees? This is wonderful.
I wish we still did Song of the Month. This would get my vote. |

This is awesome, I feel like this quite a bit.
I think the way you described everything and the language you used conveyed the emotion perfectly.
