Invitation to Infinite
AUDIO - Invitation to Infinite
Hey all... okay, this recording is nowhere even close to complete... it's not even the whole song. The singing is a bit off-key and and timing isn't worked out perfectly yet. So fair warning! :-) But I am offering this recording unto you in hopes of attaining your feedback as to whether you think this is song is going anywhere or not. Thanks! Lyrics: Last year feels closer than a month ago Calindrical time knows nothing of what I know The highest tiers bow down before the ebb and flow Which stays a while, only to see the seasons go So swim with me in circles Tilt you head back And let each drop flow down each strand And return to the ocean’s hand Last year was a child I held so dear Let go too soon, only to see it fall The month was a bow that broke its fall Launched it up to the sky where it could see all He smiles down cuz he knows of the perfect plan He sees everything return to the great I Am. He sees humans join with highways And I can’t help but sing as I merge with everything So swim with me in circles Tilt you head back And let each drop flow down each strand And return to the ocean’s hand Some move slower than the others But we all get there in the end Some think of us as lovers But I think of you as friend I’m ecstatic on this highway As it starts to go downhill We’re closing in upon our exit, do you Want to stay? I think I will. So swim with me in circles Tilt you head back And let each drop flow down each strand And return to the ocean’s hand |

Song: Not bad, my only complaints are ones you had yourself. I'm sure you're capable of fixing up the timing and such.
Recording: Center the keyboards a bit more, lower the vocals in the mix, use a windscreen when recording vocals, and record directly in instead of mic-ing the acoustics. |
