Haiku
 

You’ve blossomed- known Truth:
“What’s done cannot be undone.”

I would never dream of considering him blossomed in any way.

Eh. I've only seen one haiku to ever catch my interest. They just seem too short for me to get into em'.

"What's done cannot be undone" is a line spoken by Lady Macbeth in Shakespeare's Macbeth.
At the end of the play she commits suicide.
I used "blossomed" to represent suicide and "Truth" to symbolize knowledge of the after life.

wow. he didnt commit suicide, he committed mass homicide suicide. he was weak so he couldn't handle his situation rationally. I hate dumbass college kids as much as the next guy, but i wouldn't call killing 32 people "blossoming"

+ points for writing something so offensive though

I'm not trying to be an asshole and using some random verb (mind you, it takes up three syllables) in the midst of a 17 syllable haiku, that would be unethical.
I'm trying to construct a metaphor, using an allusion to set the tone.
The metaphor is such:
Our lives are flowers.
Our perspectives are always encompassed by the petals.
Once we die, the petals unfold.

I like that one ^ a hell of alot better.

The haiku at the bottom of your other post. Petals. That one is quite nice.
