On a side note, how adverse are you to sardonically verbose lyrics (a la TMV)? I will tone them down, but I can't guarantee anything.

Considering how I think in an abstract manner, the simpler the lyrics, the harder time I have writing them.

I don't mean actual TMV level of incoherency, that would be painful to do with such a shallow subject. I'm just doing this for fun.

I really meant to say obscure lyrics. It will be much harder to understand than some modern rock song... will that be an issue?

It ironically seems like he left out the most important part... rock n' roll.

I can relate Bro, And agree completely. I tend to change words, lines, etc. Until I am satisfied. / For me? Recording jam sessions as a band / In return provide's ideals for a song title, emotion, style, etc. While obtaining a propper fitting, attitude, & subject. At lyric's for me.

Usually,
I prefer people singing about stuff that relates to them.
Assuming the person is actually interesting.
This is in a solo artist.
I like bands that sing about stuff that kind of relates to them...
Politics...
Love...
Etc.
Bands that are trying to be humorous generally aren't.
Besides, I don't listen to music to laugh out loud.
Some bands which are really subtle in their humor are great.
Like when Radiohead write a soppy song then have "I'll be waiting with a gun and a pack of sandwiches" in it.
Same with Muse and "I have played in every toilet, but you still want to spoil it, to prove I've made a big mistake."
Hmm...
Rather a long comment.
