How much practice have you had writing, were you planning on using this as a standalone work of poetry or in a song, and have you read any poetry?

OK. Well here's the thing...it's just not that good. It's very cliche and simple, and I could see it working as a Mudvayne song or something but other than that I wouldn't really get it.
