A Jar Of Lies
 

Emotions lay on my body as scars
As I continue my road of broken jars
Each one of these jars were full of a promise
Now broken as the skin, committed in sin

She loved him so as she did for years
Strongest of emotions negated the fears
As each jar may fall to the ground in silence
The wound will show, you will know

What have you broken night or day?
Used your emotions in a regretting way
He swung a hammer of words to be the victor
Then sung a song intended to fix her

An almanac of actions recorded by those
What you committed unto her in time is froze
Broken Jar and the glass will fall
Every Summer Spring Winter and fall

Who am I to write of such sorrow?
Of things that happened tomorrow
No sooner than you cover up from the skies
Another will die from a Jar full of lies
