They Lied When They Said It Got Easier
Everything you ever thought you knew about this time of year comes crumbling down when you see her
Christmas lights illuminate the road, you're wondering if you made the right decision to free her Leave her footsteps in your wake, her smile will melt the snow away, you never managed to reach her Darkness swallows karaoke, tears will fall you're almost choking, take in all she could teach you Take my breath away I know not everyone can change Find the words to say I know not everyone can change Skip along the pavement darling, see your face and now I'm falling, all it ever was to ya Lost and hurt and bleeding badly, didn't say it when you had me, makes you cry but the truth hurts Take your words and spin around me, all the things you said surround me, let regret run right through ya Sorry if I caused you harm, but you're to blame, now hold my arm, we'll dance just like when I knew ya Take my breath away I know not everyone can change Find the words to say I know not everyone can change ----------------------------------- The music is mostly piano-based, similar sound to David Gray. |

I started to tune out when I read about her or whatever, which makes it sound like a country song. I know it seems pretty harmless, but I always just think of someone sounding really desperate when they sing or talk about a woman. Keep it to yourself, no one else wants to hear about that crap. Woo, sorry, that was a little harsh, but seriously, I do get really bored when someone writes something about a woman.
