We Are Fascists No More
A new haircut and a suit
To make them oh so appealing Oh, oh so electable It’s magic, they have changed Hey presto! Direction change! They say “now we want to help you all" “We are fascists no more We are fascists no more Repeat after me We are fascists no more” Polishing their policies Spin washed image Not a handbag or an iron fist in sight Sometime, I start to believe But then I check myself These people subscribed To ideals that brought my country to its knees “We are fascists no more We are fascists no more Repeat after me We are fascists no more” Well I don’t believe you I don’t believe you If you’re moral you should have joined a moral team Not cut your way in through the belly Of an aged, bloated shark Then pretend it were an angel of the sea I don't believe you I don't believe you Although you think that your new style will redeem To make yourselves appear To be something you are not To try to win another vote from me

Haha, I actually found I had to bring in the historical aspect enough to make it obvious that it WAS the Tories, not Labour, that the song's about.
I'm quite pleased with how it gets my gripe across. If David Cameron genuinely is a nice, caring guy who thinks that everybody in the country should be helped by the government... then why the hell did he join the tories in the first place! Unless he hated them and wanted to destroy them from within!!! IF YOU'RE A GOOD PERSON, WHY WOULD YOU JOIN A PARTY WHERE THEY'RE ALL BASTARDS?!?!?! |
