My Sunshine
My Sunshine The moonlight is sunshine to my skin Walking around these deserted ally ways And vacant sidewalks Living among the drug dealers and bums The sweet silence Is music to my ears It relieves all my fears And clears my eyes of tears Buildings soar to the skies ceiling They seem to be taller than any giant The stars over head stretch as far as the eye can see The bliss full rays, the safety from there light Makes me feel like god himself is watching over me I can see heaven in each star Suddenly this place doesn’t seem so dim Suddenly this place isn’t so mysterious and undiscovered The moonlight is still sunshine to my skin But the stars will forever light the darkest paths. What do you guys think |

In poetry it's ok to be sensitive. Most of the old sonnets would make their authors seem like pussys by today's standards, but poetry is meant to be viewed in a different light. It's a baring of the soul, where naked honesty should be accepted.

I'm glad the ways are on your side; they'd be terrible enemies, indeed.
