New York City

Walk with me through the snow.
Central Park is freezing,
And I know too well,
You are leaving this town to find some rest.
Starting from Manhattan
Heading back out west.

You'll walk down the stairs,
Catch the B-train
From 59th street, you'll take the A.
Its a short ride, but JFK awaits
You can check all your bags,
And board the plane.

I am the failure of the engine,
I was a stow-away.
And we are bracing for a clear pool of water,
To take everything away.

In Rockafeller Center,
The iced has cracked
Pieces of the wreckage
A tryst of blue and ash.
This long December lull was starving for some heat,
The ground has shaken, and I'm buried underneath the water
Of the sea. Our flight failed us,
Our lungs are cheap, and cant breathe.
