I don't say that all of my lyrics are bad! I keep the best for the end! I started making mysic so that I could listen to it and somehow along the way I became good at it and now I would like to have something out of it.

It is much easier to write lyrics for a melody than to make a melody for lyrics
^ Going the easy route, eh? Well, that'll get you far. It won't get you respected by musicians and those with good taste in music. But teens in general are retarded robots, so, you're bound to make money. Unfortunately, we are the kind of band whose ultimate goal is to sell the music for the masses. ^ So, you don't care about the music, just the money? That's a good philosophy. How about doing something that makes as much money, but doesn't spit on artists' art? I mean, making bad music just...insults the rest of us who care about making good music. It makes money, but, it insults the rest of us.

Then why not make them sound personal instead of relying on so many cliched stock phrases.

Thats not the point though. Aretha Franklin didnt write her own songs. Her talent was conveying the emotion in them.

To make sellable music the lyrics have to be decent as well.
Here: mass music=teenagers teenagers music=good snazzy lyrics for teenagers to sing/relate to mass music=good snazzy lyrics for teenagers to sing/relate to songwriting is part of music. they go hand in hand I want to make money being a pokemon trainer, doesn't mean that I can. Sorry if that was to abrasive and mean, but you seem to be living in this fantasy world of the music industry, you need to become more aware of the truth if you will survive.

No. I find this song extremely hard to swallow probably because it's pointless, and why should I waste time swallowing things that have no meaning and are pointless? I bet I could give you a list of 200 things that are easier to swallow than this song.
