Choices
I dunno where this came from, I was just bored and pissed off. It's more poetry than song, but hey, I've never posted in here so I thought I'd see what you thought
Days go past, each day we see As another time, to do what we please Yet each day passes, another one gone And you stand no closer than you were before What is it you want to do with yourself? I hear This question too much, too much They pester and haggle and won’t leave me be Think about your future, your job they say What do you want to be? What do I want to be? I want to live life, I want to be free Free from the hassle eternally To see what comes, to wander all day Live life in the present, that’s What I say What’s the point in looking through time, If you don’t spend now in something sublime? But you can’t make a living from that! How will you earn money? I won’t Stand for it! I never said you had to, it’s my choice, You know To hell with your choice, it’s your future! Does noone else see the irony?

Free from the hassle eternally
^should change that to eternal hassle Think about your future, your job they say ^That should be changed to flow better with the line above it And the last paragraph doesn't flow well at all. I like the message you're trying to get across, the language is just butchered. |
